Greetings all! I'm just getting back to playing after taking a few years off. In the fall I'll be joining the Lady Monarchs of Manchester (NH). I just got a new set of Bauer Int. Supreme pads.
Also very glad to see the moves the Bruins made and I'm actually looking forward to the NHL season too.
Current Location: work
Current Mood: energetic
Current Music: Begin the Begin- REM
You decided to make the jump to joining the team full time?!?!?! WOOT!
Now I don't feel *quite* so guilty about moving to AZ! *grin*
Take care, good luck, hope the next season takes the team to Nationals! (THey're in San Diego next year, so believe you me, if the LMs make it, I'll be there in fighting colors! Unless, of course, I'm on the Phoenix team, playing against you... *grin*)
Say Hi! to Jod for me, she's not responding to my emails...
Yes! They finally made it half price for goalies (I'm spoiled for playing free all these years). Jodi convinced me that they're going to have 2 goalies for each team, and that the D team doesn't do so much traveling...but of course we know that Coach isn't going to let me settle for the D team and staying close to home. He's going to need me to at least dress for 10 games so that I could fill in for the C's ... And of course once I start skating and practicing my competitive juices aren't going to allow me to settle for D.
I'll say Hi to Jod, I'm riding up to Conway for the Jamboree this weekend. (I'm skating for the Seacoast Ravens) At least the Ravens aren't facing the Monarchs... heh
Well, there's still Bert... and then there's Dar's sister, and supposedly there was a new goalie trying out for the D team. I never saw her play, I missed the 1st night of tryouts (family stuff), and the 2nd, only Dar's sister was there. Not like I really *needed* to be there, I was just curious!
Well, good luck at the Jamboree! I don't have a team out here, yet, though I am in contact with one. Unfortunately, they skate the same night as Jeff's group, and they practice at the rink that is right in the middle of the 'impact zone', if you've been watching the news & heard about the 'Baseline Killers'. *gr* So I'm not too thrilled with the idea of being over there, at night, by myself, even if I *do* carry the bigger stick...
